  INFORMATION ABOUT DIVING IN BURMA

WEATHER & DIVING CONDITIONS

The best season for the live aboard starts mid of October until mid of May with a peak from December till March. This period is dry in Thailand, however rainfall can still occur at the beginning of the season.

The water temperature averages 28O to 30O Celsius and thermoclines have a maximum of 4OC change in the beginning of the season.

To dive safely, because we're going to make 3 to 4 per day, WE ASK EACH OF OUR VISITORS TO BRING A DIVE COMPUTER! You can rent it on place.

TIPS ABOUT EQUIPMENT

Do not overload your luggage, Andaman Scuba also provides a full set, or whatever you need, of brain new CRESSI SUB Professional Diving Equipment, well-known for their reliability and breathing comfort (consider 14 for a complete set). If you’re bringing your own dive gear, make sure to have your regulator and BCD properly checked and/or serviced. You will probably avoid delay and anger once you are at the dive sites, making your dive vacations more enjoyable.

A 3mm shorty wetsuit is usually enough but a full length 5mm suit wouldn’t be out of place especially when making 3 to 4 dives a day.
